Physical health affected by desk jobs

There are plenty of jobs in the world, and many of them are working at a desk. What a desk job is, is basically working in a office or something similar to an office and sitting for pretty much the entire shift. Sitting for an entire shift affects your physical health and being sedentary for that long period of time will start to negatively impact your physical health.

There are many risks for your overall health with being sedentary for long periods of time. These can be back pain which can lead to other areas of the body becoming hurt, obesity, high blood pressure and blood sugar. You need to change your routine when you work because you do not want to get seriously hurt.

There can be many solutions to helping fix your health from these type of jobs. One of the best things you can do is to try and get up every 30 minutes and get a little bit of movement in. Another thing you can try is a standing desk because you can rotate from sitting to standing. These are the two big ones that can really help improve your health. And make sure to of course get your recommended amount of exercise.

There has been research the physical activity helps improve your cardiorespiratory fitness. With that, 60-75 minutes of moderate intense exercise counteracts the effect of too much sitting. Increasing both of these will decrease the risk of cardiovascular disease and metabolic diseases.
